About

Jaz’s Jammies Mission:

Our mission is to show children love through pajamas and provide community members with the opportunity to serve others. Through fulfilling the need for pajamas in children's hospitals and homeless shelters, we provide comfort and normalcy for children enduring challenging times, uplifting both the children and the families we serve.

Past, Present, Future:

In March of 2006, Jaz's Jammies was created to collect new pajamas for sick children in hospitals, to help them feel appreciated and loved while staying extended periods of time. With the help of people like you, Jaz’s Jammies Inc. has collected nearly 3,000 pair of pajamas and impacts the lives of sick children throughout the Mid-South. It was originally the Girl Scout project of a young woman who had experienced dozens surgeries for a facial disorder and had spent up to three months in the hospital at a time. She and those who joined the cause served only two hospitals at first- St. Jude Cancer Research Hospital and Arkansas Children's Hospital. Now, in addition to serving several hospitals including Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital and Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, Jaz’s Jammies also supplies pajamas for some of the over 1,000,000 children homeless on any given night; those children have gone ignored…until now! Something as simple as a pair of pajamas can brighten a child’s day. That one brightened day can lead to a brightened week, and that brightened week can lead to a hopeful future. Partner with us and help us spread of love through pajamas one hospital and one shelter at a time.
